Leslie provides a comprehensive and practical workbook filled with open-ended questions that probe, invite, cajole, and confront the clutter in our lives. The process invites us into the confession she talks about. And as we answer, our souls are purged, our lives are uncluttered and we find a place where soul and role can dance together.
This is not a guilt ridden confession to appease an angry, vengeful God. This is an awareness of ‘God/self-truth’ expressed within the faith that the God who loves us with an everlasting love is closer to us than we are to ourselves. In this context confession is simply acknowledging the truth about ourselves within the context of knowing we are loved. This honest and gentle confession is good for the soul, good for more than the soul, and holds the promise of good for all of creation!

I'm completely blown away. Your book is just fantastic! I’m in Chapter 6. So far, each and every line has been just plain, wonderful wisdom. I can't tell you how grateful I am that you gave me this book. I read some to my wife last night and she feels the same way. I truly like Eckart Tolle, Robert Pirsig and even Byron Katie, but your writing is just so much more accessible to my mind. This is a truly great work. It is nice to discover that I'm not hauling much clutter around. Some, but not much.

Leslie Reynolds-Benns’ book, Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul is a must read for everyone. This book is the most comprehensive "self help" book I have ever read as it addresses "clutter" in our lives and how to deal with it. Virtually every area of possible "clutter" or issues that have shaped who we are is covered. I have passed along my copy to have it read by an influential friend and will be purchasing more copies for those who desperately need the contents of this book and haven’t yet recognized it. My life is far from clutter-free. What I like about Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul is that it compels me to think about where I stand in relation to the most pressing issues of our time: war and peace, poverty and wealth, race, gender, health, the environment – things that really matter. Of greatest consequence is to consider living that is God-centric vs. self-centered. This book was not at all what I expected from its title, it is much more a guide to healthy, knowledgeable living. I am proud of Leslie Reynolds-Benns for sharing this with the world.

Confession Is Good for MORE Than the Soul is a thought-provoking stroke of genius. Dr. Reynolds Benns takes the reader into a journey of exploration into our beliefs in numerous areas. This book is not for the faint of heart. The information will definitely challenge the reader to evaluate their core beliefs and have a better understanding of where those beliefs came from. A must read for anyone who wants to find a deeper meaning to who they are. I give Dr. Reynolds-Benns a 10 +++ for her outstanding work.

I admit, I have never thought of having "clutter" in my thinking process, but it is true. This book was easy reading, and allowed me to view things from a sort of "3rd" person perspective, although I was dealing with myself and my past/present clutter. I was able to focus on what "clutter" is more clearly, and understand what takes place when it's in our way. Mixed messages for sure.
The area that brought it all together for me was the workbook part. I found that through the years, many things get blurred or forgotten about, and when reading these many thought provoking questions, it brought many things up from the past to the present. I was amazed at what got buried ....lol. It was a great way to track my life with the choices, beliefs and defenses that I hung on to. It also allowed me to let go of many of those beliefs/defenses, because I no longer needed them to function. Some will take time, others will be quicker.
It's a great help for anyone to "unclutter" their life and feel lighter, freer, and more confident.

Confession Is Good For MORE Than The Soul, has lived up to its promise of facilitating the reader in “living a clutter free life.” I found myself absolved of issues I have never dealt with by simply answering the questions Dr. Reynolds-Benns puts to the reader. Indeed, reading this book and answering the questions has been a confession that is exactly like, “a damp cloth for the chalkboard of my psyche."

Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul provides a step-by-step journey into the unknown, where humanity has largely been afraid to venture, because they subconsciously knew that it would require leaving the safety of habit and ritual and venturing forth into the void of unlimited possibilities, a realm wherein lies all the fears that challenge the ego.
If current beliefs of day-to-day existence are not true, what and where do "I" exist in the vastness of everywhere and nowhere? With Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul, one is not required to take a "leap of faith" and hope for a safe landing. This process allows the pace to be controlled, and each step to be integrated: thus allowing a semblance of order that provides a foundation on which to build a new reality. An excellent read!

"The act of clearing clutter can transform your life! De-cluttering allows you to release negative emotions, generate new energy, and create space in your life for the things that are most important to your heart and soul. It is an opportunity to attract what you most desire in your life. It allows you to be open to all the marvelous experiences and people that are waiting to come into your life, if only you are cleared for them to enter. Leslie’s book and seminar has helped me achieve this. Her book truly transformed my ability to create the life I want. She is an inspired speaker and has forever transformed my life. The questions Leslie poses in her book offer signposts on that path that we all must tread individually as we seek for the truth of our own lives. She is an insightful woman, and willing to face the truth, whatever it may be. I hope this book gives you the courage to do the same.
