"We are on the planet to be and express the Divine Love of God that is alive in every fiber of our being, waiting to be released through us onto our world.
Living as love is a way of life that brings heaven on earth."
- Michael Bernard Beckwith, Founder and Spiritual Director of Agape

What keeps us from being totally present in any situation?
From operating at maximum efficiency? From experiencing our love, joy and happiness to the fullest? Reverend Leslie maintains it is our psychic clutter – the unconscious or previously unexamined material that runs our lives just outside our awareness. She has a commitment to the total transformation of the collective consciousness — a commitment to having a world that works for everyone.
In Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul, she expands the definition of confession beyond sins or transgressions to include unconscious and unexamined material, clutter, in our psyches that saps our aliveness and misdirects our energies. If you do this complete confession you will gain an expanded ability to make wiser and MORE life-affirming choices.
It is not necessary to change;
survival is not mandatory
– W. Edwards Deming
Our world has hit a crisis point. Gas prices are rising. Food costs
exploding. The argument over alternative energy sources continues. To what end? We seek verbal or physical violence as a way to end
disagreements. Detente is non-existent. “Living with” unheard of. We
have adapted to a divisive world. A “good idea” in the hands of a self-righteous man can become lethal. The situation has to change. But how? Not by changing others whom we hold responsible. Not by changing the system that we blame. We need to turn our attentions to where we can really make a difference – on ourselves.
Then we can create a world that works for everyone.
A solution to this quagmire: CONFESSION IS GOOD FOR MORE THAN THE SOUL
by Leslie Reynolds-Benns, PhD
"This book was not at all what I expected from its title, it is much MORE a guide to healthy, knowledgeable living."
– Anne Peterson, U of U
“This is not a guilt ridden confession to appease an angry, vengeful God. This is an awareness of ‘God/self-truth’ … that the God who loves us with an everlasting love is closer to us than we are to ourselves.”
– The Rev. Gerry Schmidt, DMin, Salt Lake Theological Seminary
With Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul, you will look closely at the formation of your belief systems – you will be guided to look deep inside and identify and release your attachment to your outmoded beliefs. You will then be empowered to make new life-affirming choices thus paving the way for a more fulfilling life in a new world – one that works for everyone.
Confession is like hitting the erase button on our obsolete and
unworkable beliefs.
Confession is Good for MORE than the Soul, with the help of a 220-page workbook, will empower you to uncover and let go of the clutter collected in your psyche during your powerless life as a child, through your fragile teenage years and on the jagged road to
maturity.
If you do the work espoused in Confession is Good for MORE than the
Soul, you will be empowered to separate who you are from your beliefs and behavior.
You will know who you were created to be and have permission to be that.
You will discover your purpose in life and be empowered to live it.
